Welcome to Texas Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages II. TexTESOL II was founded in 1977. We are an affiliate of International TESOL, a professional organization for those concerned with the teaching of English as a second or foreign language and of standard English as a second dialect. TexTESOL II serves the following Education Service Center areas of Texas: Region 1 - The Valley, Region 2 - Corpus Christi, Region 3 - Victoria and Region 20 - San Antonio.
We encourage ALL who work with English Language Learners of all ages, including teachers, administrators, teaching assistants, and prospective teachers to join. Click on the Membership link for forms and details.
Get active, get involved! We need volunteers to help with planning and conducting our events, writing for our newsletter, and serving as advocates for our students who often cannot speak for themselves. Contact one of our Officers for further information on volunteering.
